Mother of the Bride Dress...at last!

Hopefully I'll update this again soon, but alas, her dress didn't work out for her after all, so we're back to square 1.

Shower dresses!

My Tiara!

So, I saw the yellow gold version of this at a bridal fair and I love it!  It's from a local celtic shop, made in Ireland (they import them). The base of the design is the tattoo I plan on getting some time after the wedding to honor my late grandmother (who was Scottish). It's a triple goddess knot, and for me, it represents me, my mother and my grandmother.  I almost started crying when I saw it. I've been going back and forth with what to do with my hair, but I think this will definitely be a part of it, and a keepsake for life.

My Shoes!

I love them....They are Liz Claiborne Massey in Navy! I promise they are navy blue despite the picture making them look black.

My rings!

My e-ring is a cathedral set round solitaire. My band we just found. It's an eternity band with small diamonds spaced around the band with a diamond cut pattern in between the stones. I LOVE IT!

Options for his rings.

Robert said I can pick out his ring, and he's given me a lot of examples. I'm basically going with either Option A below, or something similar to the one on the right.

Title.

Okay, here are some pics from my hair and makeup trial.  She's going to go heavier on the foundation on the wedding day to get better coverage.  The first pic I took in the car. The natural light showed my makeup better.  We forgot to take a picture before we took out my tiara, so that's just a quick shot without it expertly placed.  I love the purple eyeshadow, and so did Robert. So we're a go!  The hair will have to be tweaked a bit, but she's going to practice on a friend in the meantime...I don't think she gets asked to do too many down styles :)

Since more and more people are finding this page that know us, dress is coming off.
